We are part of a community of Torah scholars and their families living in the Old City of Jerusalem. Many of us go to pray daily at the Kotel, and the unique power of thsi Holy place is clear and can be felt. It is the site of the Holy Temple, the place where Jacob (Yaakov) had the famous dream of the ladder, and where Avraham offered up his precious son Isaac (Yitzhak). The Kabbalah says that the divine presence will never leave this site.
We know that for people living outside of Jerusalem, making the trip to the Kotel can be challenging, and for anyone living outside of Israel it is usually impossible. So we've created a way for people all over the world to have their prayers heard at this holy place. We match individuals with one of the rabbis, teachers, or students in our community who will take on that person's prayer request and pray for 40 consecutive days at the Kotel. Praying for 40 days at the Kotel is a known segual (mystical recipe), and over the years we've seen prayers for marriage, children, health, and many other requests answered again and again.
All we ask in return in that you make a donation, according to your ability and our suggested amounts, towards supporting Torah families in our community who are struggling.
